I want we create change to spread awareness around the school on some of the issues around the world and how they can help by just bringing in change for the coin drive.
I also think that we should spread awareness because we will not only notify people about the situation but we will encourage others to bring money in for the coin drive.
i think that we should let people know about the issue through poster and announcements ect. so student can bring in money for the coin drive.also when we have parents in the school they might see the posters and bring in donations for the coin drive.
I think doing a skit(just like in we scare hunger) would be good becuase it grabs the audiances attention and is factual while being amusing. Posters, and anouncements are good but i think we should have more hand drawn posters because yes the computer made ones are proffesional, hand drawn posters show more emotion and effort (i'm not saying the other ones are bad)!

we need to talk to the students about nelson Mandela's legacy and everything he did for the world.we need to talk about his life and even though he spent 27 years in jail he still kept going and he didn't hold grudges nor did he try to take revenge
At the BTC meeting over lunch most of the group thought that it would be a good idea if everyday we had announcements sharing a short quote from Nelson Mandela or people who believed in the same issue as he did.
I think we should involve some of Nelson Mandela's quotes so that we are remembering him. We can also put together an announcement of parts of his speeches.
For this intiative, we can incorperate Nelson Mandela, by writing his quotes that refer to education on posters, or even sharing them with students on anouncements. This will help our school be inspired and feel like this intiative is not only helping with education but is being lead by a leader. Also, putting attention towards that will help our school move foward, and therefore really want to help this cause.
