Me and alexa thought we should have a picture slide show of hunger in canada to show the kids at mcmurrich why this is a very important matter. Our second idea was to have a skit possibly based on superheroes helping to end hunger.
Also the class who brings in the most canned goods/ non parishable food items. We also can send a news letter talking about our campaign on the fight against hunger.
the skit could be about food vs compost. the people who cant afford food sometimes eat out of the garbage. This would catch our schools attention because there is action happening in the skit. There will be facts in the story so they are learning while having fun
Justin and I were thinkng that we should promote We Scare Hunger by doing skits at assembalys because in our opinion we thought the skits that the BTC members did was very intriguing/intresting. We should also do announcements regarding We Scare Hunger. This would be helpful because then the students will be reminded to bring non parishable food items to school to help out with the food banks all acrosss Toronto.
